The Director of Centro Europa Ricerche (CER) Visits BASS

　　On Sep 24, 2025, Mr. Stefano Fantacone, the director and principal researcher of Centro Europa Ricerche (CER) in Italy, visited BASS. Professor Xie Hui, secretary of the leading Party members’ group at BASS, extended a warm welcome to the guest and briefly introduced the development of BASS and its initiatives. Xie expressed the hope of further expanding collaboration between the two institutions to better leverage their role as think tanks. At the following academic meeting, the two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on digital finance, urban governance and energy transition. He Yalan, president of BASS, delivered a speech, while vice president Fan Wenzhong presided over the meeting. Staff of relevant functional departments and research institutes joined in the meeting.

　　Mr. Fantacone made a special visit to BASS after attending the 2025 Beijing Culture Forum. In previous exchanges between the two sides, the concepts, ideas, and case studies provided by CER have offered valuable insights and inspiration for BASS in promoting international think tank exchange and cooperation, serving the construction of Beijing as “four centers”, and accelerating the development of a domestic first-class and internationally renowned think tank.
