Delegation of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University Visits BASS

　　On Feb 10, 2025, at the invitation of BASS, Dr. Kanakorn Sawangcharoen, president of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University of Thailand, led a 10-member delegation to visit BASS for academic exchange. Professor Xie Hui, secretary of the leading Party members’ group at BASS, met with the guests and warmly welcomed the delegation. The two sides expressed the hope of further expanding academic collaboration to strengthen cultural exchanges and inject new impetus into building a closer China-Thailand community with a shared future.

　　At the following academic meeting, president of BASS He Yalan extended a warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the development of BASS. The meeting was chaired by director of Scientific Research Organization Office Liu Bo, and more than 20 experts and scholars engaged in the in-depth discussions and exchanges. Both sides agreed to establish a long-term and stable cooperation mechanism to conduct joint research on topics of common interest such as Belt and Road, community research, cultural transmission, and talent training.

　　President Kannakorn Sawancharon expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from BASS and briefly introduced the delegates and the university. He stated that Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University has a long history of cooperation and exchange with Chinese institutions, and looks forward to achieving common development in scientific research through academic exchanges with BASS.
