Six Academic Works from BASS Won the 18th Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award

  The Beijing Social Science Federation and the Beijing Office of Philosophy and Social Science Planning recently announced the winners of the 18th Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award. Six academic achievements from BASS were honored with the Second Prize.
  

 

  The awarded works include: 
  1.Development of New Quality Productive Forces – Capital Practice in the New Era and New Journey by Chang Yan (book, Party's Innovative Theories); 
  2.Understanding Marx in His Later Years by Zhang Xiaoqing (book, Academic Discipline);
  3.Research on Infrastructure Investment and Financing Cooperation Rules under the Belt and Road Initiative by Li Yuan (book, Academic Discipline); 
  4.Strategies for the Public Good: Management and Operation of Yamen in Beijing During the Qing Dynasty by Gao Fumei (paper, Academic Discipline); 
  5.Research on Private Regulation of Digital Platforms in Cyberspace Governance by Na Chaoying (book, Academic Discipline); 
  6.Research on the Implementation of New Cultural Formats in Shougang Park by Zhao Jimin (research report, Decision-making Consultation and Social Service).
  The list is presented in no particular order; numbered according to system generation.
  

 

  About the Award
  The Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award is hosted by the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. The award aims to encourage the capital's philosophy and social science researchers to stand at the forefront of the times, understand historical and modern changes, and voice pioneering thoughts. It encourages scholars to actively engage in theoretical and practical research for the Party and the people, promote innovation in philosophical and social science knowledge, theory, and methodology, and produce more outstanding works to contribute to the construction of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics.
